Trees

I see Trees as a metaphor of the human condition. We are both unique and infinite in our existence and culture, growing, fighting for, or sharing earth, sun and water. Like humans, trees depend on good land, strong will and luck of circumstances to survive and live long in our universe.

Tree Composites

Mixed Media Trees

I started by reclaiming surfaces with abstract painted backgrounds, then I rolled gold or sepia ink on laser engraved plates. The plates were made of Masonite coated with gesso; the image was laser-engraved through the gesso and printed as a relief. (Laser Engravings on paintings, Size: 15” x 22”, Price on Request)
